Overview
CheckMyFreightBill audits your freight invoices for billing errors. To do that well, we ask for a small amount of information and handle it carefully. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your email address, so we can communicate with you about your account and send you audit findings.
- Forwarded freight documents – the invoices, bills of lading, rate confirmations, and related emails you send us for auditing.
- Basic usage data needed to operate and secure the service.
We do not ask for information we do not need to do the job.
How we use your data
We use the documents you forward solely to audit your freight bills, identify billing errors, and prepare the findings and draft disputes we return to you. We use your email address to deliver those results and to support your account.
Storage and security
Your documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people and systems required to perform your audit. We retain your data only as long as needed to provide the service.
We never sell or share your data
We do not sell your data, and we do not share your documents with third parties for their own purposes. Any statistics we publish are aggregates only – no customer, carrier, or lane is ever identifiable.
Your choices
You can request an export of your data or its deletion at any time. When you cancel, your documents are exported to you and deleted on request.
